WKHS ART
Students have two options for participating in art activities and encrichment in and out of school. We offer the following extracurricular opportunities:
NATIONAL ART HONOR SOCIETY (NAHS)The National Art Honor Society (NAHS) is designed to inspire and recognize students who have shown an outstanding ability and interest in art. NAHS strives to aid members in attaining the highest standards in art scholarship, character, and service, and to bring art education to the attention of the school and community. Activities include having guest speakers, art workshops, competitions, and community service projects.
ART COUNCIL
Art Council is open to any student with an interest in art. Students meet on Wednesday mornings at 8:00 and other times as needed based on on-going art projects. Activities include project likes creating sets and murals for various school performances and prom, as well opportunities to explore a variety of art activities just for fun.
